Circular Cartography is a watercolor composition built around rhythm, repetition, and movement. Inspired by mechanical watch movements, another passion of mine, the work transforms gears, cycles, and connections into an abstract, organic language. Small shapes, lines, and fields of color form an imaginary map, rich in detail yet balanced as a whole.

The circular movement at the center guides the eye through a network of elements that seem to belong to a shared mechanism. Shades of green, blue, gray, and deep wine bring mechanical precision into dialogue with the fluidity of nature. White spaces between the shapes create pathways and intervals, allowing the composition to breathe.

This artwork is part of my ongoing exploration of abstraction as a living territory, where gesture, color, and detail come together. It invites slow observation, revealing how small parts can build a universe of relationships, movement, and the passage of time.
